Adrienne Maloof (born September 4, 1961) is an American businesswoman, television personality, and shoe designer. She serves as a co-owner of the Maloof Companies, a family-run business conglomerate with holdings that have spanned professional sports, casinos, entertainment production, and music. She became known to television audiences when she joined Bravo's The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills as an original cast member in 2010. Through the Maloof Companies, she has held ownership stakes in the Palms Casino Resort in Las Vegas, Nevada, the Sacramento Kings of the National Basketball Association, Maloof Productions, Maloof Music, and the Maloof Money Cup skateboarding competition.[1][2] She has also designed a line of shoes under her name. Her father is George J. Maloof Sr., who built the family business empire, and her mother is Colleen Maloof.
Early life
Adrienne was born on September 4, 1961, in Albuquerque, New Mexico, into the Maloof family, a Lebanese-American family with extensive business interests across the United States. Her father, George J. Maloof Sr., expanded the family's holdings into a diversified conglomerate spanning professional sports, gaming, entertainment, and beverages. Her mother, Colleen Maloof, supported the family's business and philanthropic endeavors.[3]
The family's business story began with a grocery and beer distribution company in New Mexico, which George J. Maloof Sr. grew over decades into a multi-industry portfolio. Growing up alongside her siblings — including brothers George J. Maloof Jr., Joe Maloof, and Gavin Maloof — Adrienne was immersed in business from an early age. As the conglomerate expanded from Albuquerque into Las Vegas and Sacramento, California, each sibling eventually took on roles within the Maloof Companies.[3][2]
Education
Adrienne attended the University of New Mexico in Albuquerque, where she earned a Bachelor of Arts degree.[4] After completing her degree, she joined the family business and worked alongside her siblings in various capacities within the Maloof Companies.
Career
Maloof Companies
As a co-owner and executive, Adrienne has been involved in shaping the Maloof Companies across several decades. The conglomerate's origins trace to grocery and beverage distribution in New Mexico, from which the family expanded into professional sports franchises, casinos and resorts, entertainment production, and music.[3][2]
The most prominent of the family's sports ventures was their ownership of the Sacramento Kings of the National Basketball Association. The Maloof family acquired a majority stake in the Kings in 1998 and held the franchise for over a decade, during which time the team reached the Western Conference Finals in 2002. The family sold the Kings in 2013 after a protracted effort to relocate the franchise from Sacramento, which drew significant public opposition and ultimately failed.[3]
The Palms Casino Resort in Las Vegas was another flagship Maloof property. It opened in November 2001 and became known for its celebrity clientele, luxury accommodations, nightclubs, restaurants, and an on-site recording studio. Adrienne played an active management role alongside her brothers at the resort. The family sold the Palms Casino Resort in 2011 to Leonard Green & Partners.[2]
Maloof Productions handled the family's entertainment ventures, producing television content and other media projects. Maloof Music covered their music industry interests. The Maloof Money Cup, a professional skateboarding competition that drew competitors and spectators from around the world, ran from approximately 2005 to 2012 before concluding.[2]
Shoe design
Adrienne expanded into fashion with a designer shoe line bearing her name, establishing a personal brand distinct from the family's larger business holdings. In December 2011, she discussed her designs and experience navigating the retail world, drawing on her background as a business executive.[5] The footwear line benefited from the public visibility she gained through her television appearances.
Television career
In 2010, Bravo announced Adrienne as an original cast member for The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills, a reality series following affluent women living in Beverly Hills, California. The Los Angeles Times noted in May 2010 that the show was "amping up the franchise with star power."[6] E! Online also confirmed her among the original cast members for the new series.[7]
Her storylines on the series centered on family business, her marriage to Dr. Paul Nassif, and her social life in Beverly Hills. In September 2010, she appeared on CNN's Larry King Live to discuss the show and her role on it.[8]
She remained a main cast member through the first three seasons of The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills, a tenure that included her highly publicized separation and divorce from Dr. Nassif, which unfolded both on screen and in the tabloid press. In 2013, she announced her departure from the series, stating "it was time to exit."[9] Her appearance on the show transformed her from a behind-the-scenes business executive into a recognizable public figure, and also brought wider attention to the Maloof Companies and their various ventures.[1] She has maintained a connection to the franchise and its community since her departure, including a cameo appearance on The Real Housewives of Atlanta.[10]
Her television credits are catalogued in the Internet Movie Database, which lists her Real Housewives appearances and related programs.[11]
Personal life
Adrienne was married to Dr. Paul Nassif, a Beverly Hills plastic surgeon who later became known as a co-host of the television series Botched. Their marriage and subsequent breakup became prominent storylines during her time on The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills. In 2012, the couple separated.[12] The divorce proceedings were contentious, with custody of their three sons at the center of the dispute. By November 2012, TMZ reported that the parties had reached a settlement and custody agreement.[13]
As of 2025, all three of Adrienne and Paul's sons were attending college. Adrienne described herself as an "empty nester" in a May 2025 interview. One son, Christian Nassif, attends the University of Southern California; both Adrienne and Paul attended a family weekend there in November 2025.[14] Despite the acrimony of their divorce, the former couple has maintained a cooperative co-parenting relationship. In October 2025, they reunited with their respective families for a weekend trip, which Adrienne described as "a beautiful time."[15]
Following her divorce, Adrienne's personal life attracted media attention. In January 2013, Us Weekly reported that she was dating Sean Stewart, the son of rock musician Rod Stewart.[16]
Adrienne has made her home in Beverly Hills. During her 2012 divorce proceedings, she listed a Beverly Hills estate for sale; Variety reported on the listing, describing it as occurring amid a "bitter divorce."[17] The property was subsequently sold to singer Christina Aguilera, as Variety reported in 2013.[18] In December 2025, she shared photographs of her current home's holiday decorations with Bravo, describing it as the "most magical transformation."[19]
In 2020, her uncle Phil Maloof died from complications related to COVID-19.[20]
Adrienne has also been involved in philanthropic activities. In 2025, she co-hosted a charitable holiday gathering alongside actress Niecy Nash-Betts, described as a "holiday party with a purpose."[21]
